Raha Moharrak, first Saudi woman to conquer Everest
Raha Moharrak is the youngest Arab and the first Saudi woman to conquer Mount Everest. While climbing the world’s highest mountain is challenge enough, for Raha, it also meant breaking a taboo. The mountain of conservative Islamic tradition was higher than Everest could ever be. But she did it anyway: with the support of her family she climbed the world´s highest mountain and set an example for young women that anything is possible – you just have to put your mind to it. While training for her next adventure, Raha Moharrak took the time to speak to MAD Talks´Linda Behringer.
